Our Calendar Summer has passed us again! We are looking forward to the fall & winter months. Our focus during the fall-winter season is: "GROW TO GO!" So along with fun events, we will be getting deeper in our faith! We will be updating this page as we plan events. Check this page frequently to make sure you are up to date with what we are doing and make plans to attend! SEPTEMBER '99: 26th, 12 p.m.-2 p.m. - Winter Birthday Bash! If you have a birthday between September 1st and December 31st, YOU are the guest of honor! OCTOBER '99: 3rd, 4:00 p.m. - Stage Design Meeting. If you have a creative mind or would just like to throw in some suggestions for our stage area (fellowship hall), you need to be at this meeting. We will sit down, brain storm, and see what happens! 9th, 12 p.m.-5 p.m. - "An Afternoon of Paintballing". If an afternoon of shooting up your friends with paint pellets sounds fun to you, come on out! We will leave the church at 12 noon and be back around 5:30 p.m. (if not earlier). The cost is $22.75 per person. This includes the gun, field fee, and 300 paint pellets. We have to have a minimum of 20 people to go. If you are interested email the Student Ministry at [email protected] or call 853-7171 and ask for Bro. Matthew. 17th, 12 p.m.-4:30 p.m. - "Super Sunday". If you are interested in going through the CLASS 101 (Discovering Church Membership) course, this is the date! We will begin right after the morning service with a light lunch and will conclude around 4:30 p.m. Those who finish the course will be able to go on to the CLASS 201 (Discovering Spiritual Maturity) course. There are three ways you can sign up for this course: 1) During our Wednesday night service; 2) Sunday Morning before Sunday School; 3) Email us at [email protected] and tell us you want to take CLASS 101. 31st, 11:45 p.m.-1:30 p.m. - "Quest Luncheon". All money raised will go toward paying for Quest Camp 2000. Any money left over after June 23rd, 2000, will go toward other events that we will be participating in. NOVEMBER '99: 22nd, TBA - Community Wide Thanksgiving Service 23rd, 6:30 p.m.-7:45 p.m. - "Twensday". This is when our church celebrates Thanksgiving together. There is always good food, music, and testimonies. Make plans to attend. DECEMBER '99: 18th-19th, 6:30 p.m. - Our annual "Christmas Program". Our Music Director and choir do a fantastic job of putting a person in the Christmas spirit. This is a time of remembering the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ! So make plans to come out and get joyful! 19th, 7:45 p.m.-10:00 p.m. - "Student Ministry Christmas Party". Each person brings a gift with a value less than $5.00. There will be food, lots of fun, and a holiday devotional. Ruth Craig's home will be the place for this year's party. |
